    2012年最佳设备：新款三星Chromebook笔记本电脑。我知道今年市面上涌现出了大量新款的平板电脑和智能手机，而且它们都比去年的型号更快、更薄、更强大。许多产品都非常优秀，但我还是更青睐新款的三星Chromebook笔记本电脑。虽然它的先天缺陷很明显，比如它还算不上是一款功能齐全的电脑，充其量只是一个能上网的窗口。不过考虑到它只卖２５０美元的白菜价，这个窗口算是一个相当不错的窗口了。它的外观和感觉跟“超极本”差不多，开机很快，而且永远不需要升级。况且价格还很便宜，随便就可以买两三个放在家里。

    Best device of 2012: The new Samsung Chromebook. I know, there are gobs of new tablets and phones, and they're all faster, thinner, lighter and sharper than last year's models. Many are great. But I'm going to go with the new Samsung Chromebook. The limitations are obvious. This is not a full-fledged computer, just a window onto the Web. For $250, however, it's a very nice window indeed. It has the look and feel of an ultrabook. It starts up fast and never needs upgrades. And it's inexpensive enough that you could have two or three lying around the house.
