Blame it on mediocre reliability and a cost per mile of $1.18, far higher than the 80¢-per-mile Nissan 370Z that also competes in this space. Perhaps the arrival of the next-generation Corvette coming in model year 2014 will improve the standing of Chevy's halo car.
