    The versatile cloth top can be opened partially to act as a sunroof while the car is moving without risk of it blowing off. When opened all the way, it folds down behind the back seats without taking up space in the trunk. The Mini can be optioned with a gauge that tracks the amount of time driven with the top down -- for no particular reason that can be discerned.
