But when former Miss Pennsylvania Sheena Monnin announced that she believed Trump's Miss USA Competition was rigged, Trump promptly responded with his other favorite comeback: "I'll sue you!" Monnin, who did not make the contest's Top 16, claimed that Miss Florida, Karina Brez, had seen the list of the top five finalists before they were announced on the live show. Trump, who co-owns the Miss Universe Organization with NBC Universal, accused Monnin of being a sore loser and a liar, demanding monetary damages for defamation when she refused to apologize. Monnin has said she remains committed to exposing the truth. |
