Latest comScore numbers say Android passes iPhone

    ...and quickly gaining on RIM in number of active US users.

    Not a big surprise here, with 300,000 Google Android devices being activated daily vs. Apple's 150,000+ (Apple sold 14m iPhones last quarter), comScore's November numbers show more Android phones in use in the US than Apple's iPhone.

    Google (GOOG) and Apple (AAPL) are the only platforms that gained ground in the latest study. Google grew an impressive 6.4 points while Apple gained .8 points. The big loser was RIM (RIMM) who lost 4.1 points falling from 37-33% of the market.

    Judging by the noise coming out of CES, Android doesn't look to be slowing down.
